The new RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship course provides an introduction to the basic skills required before taking a small boat to sea or taking an active part in running a boat.

Suggested Previous Experience

Some practical sailing or motor cruising experience is desirable although this course is designed for those new to boating. There is no end of course exam as assessment of the students learning takes place through out the course.
