RYA ISAF Offshore Safety Certificate
The certificate awarded confirms crew eligibility under section 6.01 of the ISAF Special Regulations for category 0, 1 and 2 offshore races. These require a percentage of the crew to have taken personal survival training. It is an absolute must for those crews undertaking the Rolex Fastnet Race to consider doing the ISAF Offshore Safety Course. Rule 6.01.3 of the ISAF Special Regs states ‘It is strongly recommended that all crew members should undertake training as in OSR 6.01 at least once every five years.’ |
