Graham, Angi and Alex Holbrook, Fun Adventure Sailing - weekend 24th-27th July 2009

Just like to pass on out thanks for last weekend's sailing, we all had a very enjoyable time (despite the duff weather on Monday morning). Great boat and a very amiable and competent skipper. Hope to see EASS again soon

We would like to thank Jeff our Skipper for a most exciting first hand experience at beginners sailing. The best day was Sunday by far with all the very high winds, although I was a little nerves at times when the boat was going over on it sides, we all felt completely safe and in good hands, Jeff was very reassuring. We were all shattering at the end of the weekend with a few aches and pains. We would like to take the next course with our son joining us and will get back with dates, as he is away at the present time. Hopefully we would like to take the next course at the end of May early June or maybe you could advise us on the availability.

Colin White, Sea Survival Course - April 13th 2009

I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the course on Sunday. Andy did an excellent job in understanding our needs as pilots rather than sailors and we all came away feeling we had gained a great deal of useful knowledge.

Penelope, Time Afloat weekend 13/14 June 09

Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you very much for a wonderful weekend. There were 7 of us on Strata 6 and John Hall skippered for us again. We had an interesting sail on Saturday down the coast to Clacton and spent Sunday in the rivers. The balance of learning and enjoyment was excellent. We explored Harwich on Saturday night and even went to a big party which was on at Suffolk Yacht Harbour on the same night, we packed it all in. I can do nothing but highly recommend the East Anglian Sea school to everyone I meet at Aviva and beyond. The pictures are being circulated now! Once again many thanks for the excellent organising and joining instructions, fantastic food, brilliant skipper, and super yacht. Please pass on our sincere thanks to John Hall. I will definitely organize another trip.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed last weekends sailing course. End to end the service was professional, organised and very safe. I would particularly like to express my thanks to Keith who was so very good for my confidence and accommodating of my lack of knowledge. I am very much looking forward to the second half (3 days) session

David Graystone, Day skipper, 2009

Jim, I've just completed the second part of Day Skipper at your school and I'd like to express my delight at the whole experience. My 3 day weekend in April was lead by Norman and I thought that I'd really struck gold to have such a skilled teacher. Returning for the two day weekend I encountered Neil. Hopefully both of them would realise it's a compliment to say that in many respects they are cast from the same mould. They are inspirational people to be around both at sea and in the bar. Looking back on what I have experienced and had the opportunity to learn during the course it is hard to believe that it was only 5 days. Even when nothing appeared to be happening both Norman and Neil slipped amusing but educational anecdotes into the conversation and the learning continues (even if the ouzo does slow the pace a little!). Of course there's a good deal more involved in running a school than just superb instructors. I have experienced both Strata 4 and 6 and found them to be ideally suited to the training role. Generous accommodation, very well equipped and, of course, well provisioned. I'd recommend your school without any hesitation and, when I can get my work/life balance under control again. I'll be back for more.

Jan & Mike Taylor, Day skipper, 2009

Hi Jim and co. Having thawed out from the week doing our Day Skipper course I want to write to say what a great time we had. Firstly to say what an fantastic instructor Keith is and that we feel privileged to have met and spent time with him and secondly thanks to the cook for the really good food she prepared, usually being a vegetarian is a problem for people but I thoroughly enjoyed all her home cooking- well done the whole 5 day experience was great.
