The aim of the RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster shorebased course is to build on your existing knowledge of Offshore & Coastal navigation, pilotage and meteorology.

Suggested Previous Experience

Navigation to Day Skipper shorebased standard with experience of coastal yachting or motor cruising.

When successful in the practical examination you will have the option to apply for commerical endorsement.

Options

Due to the nature of this training dates and fees are arranged on an individual basis. Many of these courses can be completed at weekends reducing time taken from work.
